Through a community-engaged project, A&S faculty and students are exploring how extreme precipitation and other factors are affecting an urban Syracuse stream.

As the home of the liberal arts in an R1 research university, A&S offers all undergraduates opportunities to take part in research or scholarly work alongside top-tier faculty. Whether it's conducting field work in the community, embarking on a geology field expedition or curating an art history exhibition, students and faculty are helping answer the world’s big questions and addressing its grandest challenges.
