Improving Forest Health
Climate change will likely add to the many stressors facing eastern U.S. forests. A Ph.D. student in biology has been honored with two prestigious awards for her research aimed at protecting the relationship between fungi and tree roots, which is crucial for maintaining forest health.
Enhancing Communication
A conversation club in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders' Gebbie Speech, Language and Hearing Clinic improves well-being and feelings of connectedness for individuals with speech and language disorders.
Literary Excellence from Page to Stage
The Creative Writing Program provides students with access to leading authors. Among them is Dana Spiotta, a bestselling writer who recently published a Vogue profile on model and actress Kaia Gerber, and had one of her books adapted into an opera.
