Teaching Assistantships in Women's and Gender Studies
Women's and Gender Studies offers Teaching Assistantships to advanced doctoral students throughout the university. Teaching Assistants earn a stipend and possibly a tuition scholarship. The primary responsibility of these positions is to provide teaching assistance to core WGS courses, typically WGS 101: Introduction to Women’s and Gender Studies and WGS 201: Transnational Feminist Studies. WGS TA positions offer an opportunity for mentorship and invaluable experience with feminist pedagogies. WGS TAs are offered additional support through the Future Professoriate Program (FPP) at SU.
