Aly Blair Joins A&S | Maxwell Admissions Office as Assistant Director of Recruitment

In this role, Blair will lead efforts to connect with prospective students, while collaborating with faculty and university partners to drive strategic enrollment initiatives.

The A&S | Maxwell admissions office welcomes Aly Blair as its new recruitment specialist.

The College of Arts and Sciences (A&S) | Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs admissions office is pleased to announce the addition of Aly Blair as its new assistant director of recruitment. Blair will engage prospective students both on and off campus to support continued growth in undergraduate enrollment across all A&S | Maxwell programs. She will also collaborate with faculty, college leadership and the University’s Office of Admissions to create and implement initiatives that will optimize overall enrollment goals.

“We’re very excited to welcome Aly to the A&S and Maxwell admissions office,” says Christopher Anderson, assistant dean for admissions and enrollment in A&S | Maxwell. “I’m grateful to have someone with experience in the field join us to help us accomplish our enrollment goals. Aly can jump right in and bring a fresh perspective to our strategic initiatives.”

Before joining the A&S | Maxwell admissions team on a full-time basis, Blair worked in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at Le Moyne College, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in communications and served as a campus tour guide. She also brings professional experience in social media marketing and advertising.

“I am excited to be joining the team in this new role,” says Blair. “I look forward to bringing my experience as an admissions counselor to another Syracuse-area institution and guiding students in finding where they will begin their next chapter as part of the Syracuse community.”

Blair, originally from West Springfield, Massachusetts, enjoys reading and has a background in competitive swimming.
