
Two graduate programs in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) have ranked among the top in the country in the latest U.S. News & World Report ratings. The audiology program is now ranked #20 nationwide (#1 in New York State) out of over 70 programs, while the speech-language pathology program is ranked #39 nationwide (#3 in New York State) out of over 280 programs.
Rankings are based on a score reflecting a program’s average rating on a scale from 1 (marginal) to 5 (outstanding), derived from a survey of academics at peer institutions. Factors considered include program quality, faculty credentials and research activity.
