Coronat Scholars Share How They Will Spend Their Summers
Every summer, Coronat Scholars spread all over the country, and the globe, to conduct research, complete internships and volunteer for programs that support their academic and professional goals.
With interests spanning nearly all disciplines, students reveal the exciting ways they will be spending their summers. From science and engineering research in South Korea to the Financial District in New York City, Coronat Scholars prepare for their exciting summer opportunities.
Some of the experiences that Coronat Scholars have lined up for the summer of 2026 include:
- Madeline Gibbons '27 (Statistics and Accounting) will be joining PwC as an Audit Intern in their New York City office.
- Mollie Kuritzky '29 (Political Science, Law, Society & Policy, and Journalism) will join Carlucci Consulting as a Communications Intern.
- Giselle Jean-Marie '28 (Policy Studies and Health Humanities) will be a Transformation and Innovation Intern at Virtua Health in Marlon, New Jersey.
- Tyler Branigan '27 (Economics, Policy Studies, and Environment, Sustainability & Policy) will join the New York City Economic Development Corporation as a Grants Management Intern.
- Rishita Ghosh '27 (Chemistry and Biomedical Engineering) will be a DGIST Summer Undergraduate Research Fellow at the Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science & Technology (DGIST), in Daegu, South Korea.
- Anna Meehan '26 (Music History & Cultures, Russian Literature, Language & Culture, and International Relations) will be moving to the Republic of Georgia, where she will start her certificate in Georgian Folk Music at Tbilisi State Conservatoire, research the role of music and socialization in Georgian national identity, and copyright for NovaMova School of Languages & Area Studies.
- Sofiya Ivanova '27 (Psychology and Creative Writing) will be a research assistant at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, examining firearm safety in the hospital inpatient setting.
- Liam Tillou '28 (Biotechnology and Finance) will be completing a summer abroad with Syracuse London, where he will complete an internship with Cornerstone Venture Capital.
- Trisha Balani '27 (Policy Studies and Information, Management & Technology) will work as a Customer & Operations Intern at KPMG in their New York City office.
- Spencer Howard '27 (Policy Studies and Public Relations) will join Horizon Media as a Business Solutions Intern in their New York City office.
- OlaRose Ndubuisi will spend her summer in Syracuse as a research assistant in Dr. Xiaoran Hu’s Chemistry Lab and volunteering at Crouse Health in the Labor and Delivery Post-Partum Unit. Additionally, she will spend 10 days in Normandy, France through the International Filmmaking with WWII Documentarians program.
- Elisabeth Nelson '28 (Biology) will spend her summer in Göttingen, Germany where she will be a research intern for the National Reference Center for Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathies at the University of Göttingen Medical Center.
