In October 2025, Professor Wayne Franits’s Senior Seminar class made the annual trek down to New York City to explore careers in the field of art history. Professor Franits, accompanied by Professors Sally Cornelison and Sascha Scott, escorted eight students (Evangeline Berg, Belle Campion, Artemis Christova, Kyle Henry, Adeline Hume, Marie Karou, Caroline O’Rourke, and Ava Sullivan) to the city, and enjoyed behind-the-scenes visits to The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Frick Collection, Christies, and the Nicholas Hall Gallery. The weekend culminated with a dinner at Syracuse University’s Lubin House, where recent alumni of the program engaged in lively conversation with students.
