Art history major Tammy Hong (’18) adds another feather to her cap by winning the Best Humanities Capstone Thesis Prize at the 2018 Renée Crown University Honors Program Convocation ceremony held in Hendricks Chapel. Tammy’s thesis is titled "Mestrovic’s Moses: Public Holocaust Remembrance in the United States Post-World War II” and focuses on Ivan Mestrovic’s “Moses” relief that towers over the sculpture garden next to Bowne Hall. Her thesis was written under the supervision of prof Romita Ray in our department and prof Alan Allport (History).
