Hi! My name is Chidera Olalere and I'm a rising junior majoring in Biochemistry and Forensic Science. I'm originally from Nigeria, and went to boarding school there for 6 years followed by 2 years of IB in the UK before coming to Syracuse! I'm a pre-med student and my ideal career would be a combination of practicing medicine as a doctor and doing medical research. On campus, I'm an ambassador for the College of Arts and Sciences, a tutor at the Stevenson Educational Center, an RA and a member of the Syracuse University Ambulance. I've volunteered at Upstate University Hospital and St. Joseph's hospital, which are two of the local hospitals in Syracuse. I'm also doing research in a cancer lab in the Urology department at Upstate Medical University and am a member of the Syracuse chapter of Phi Eta Sigma, a national honors society.
