The Department of Writing Studies, Rhetoric, and Composition has released the 2020 edition of the student-run magazine, "Intertext." The publication, completed by students working remotely due to COVID-19, features stories written by students enrolled in various WRT courses.
The project is part of WRT 340, taught by Patrick Berry, associate professor of writing studies, rhetoric, and composition. While Berry serves as an advisor to the students, they ultimately select the stories, edit, develop and publish the final product. The course is supported by the Center for Innovative Learning (iLEARN) of the College of Arts and Sciences, a program that blends traditional classroom learning with professional experience.
