Dash is a PhD student whose research focuses on narrative-driven, interactive video games, to understand how interactivity changes the experience of 'reading' a text that requires participation. With a special focus on understanding how interpretation through interactivity redefines meaning-making and, essentially, construction of knowledge, Dash also aims to study the spectral position of the player as an agent. Ultimately, they hope to foreground experience as a means to critical thought and inquiry. Other interests include media studies, South Asian literature, speculative fiction, and Psychoanalysis.
