B.A. in Applied Mathematics
B.A. Applied Mathematics is best suited as a second major for a student with a passion for Science, Technology, or Engineering. It emphasizes the breadth of applications of Mathematics and its computational aspects, including the principles of mathematical algorithms that drive technological innovations. This program of study contains more courses that focus on computations and algorithms (such as MAT 331) than the courses that focus on proof-writing (such as MAT 375).
