
Austin Garner, assistant professor of biology, was featured on The Academic Minute in a segment titled “Fishy Friction through Microscopic Modification.” The episode highlighted Garner’s latest research exploring how some fish develop microscopic structures on their fins which may enable them to cling firmly in harsh underwater environments.
