Mathematics and Education
I chose to pursue the dual program because it offered me the ability to graduate with a full bachelors degree in Education and Mathematics. I’ve always known I wanted to be a teacher but it was really important to me to have a broader degree that offered me more opportunities as well, because you never know where life will take you.

Psychology and Photojournalism
I chose to pursue a dual program because Newhouse will help me market myself even more effectively to graduate schools and potential employers. My combined training in psychology, photojournalism, and graphic design will help me appeal not just to my colleagues in clinical psychology, but to millions of people who do not have a science background but wish to better understand mental health.

Bioengineering and Mathematics
Before coming to Syracuse, I always had a love for mathematics and engineering. Because mathematics is such a fundamental part of engineering, I was so excited about the opportunity to study both. I also wanted access to the resources offered by A&S, both in terms of courses and advising. As a dual student in the College of Arts & Sciences, I can be a well-rounded engineering student.
